Situated on 57 acres in Southern Rhode Island, Morning Star Horse Farm offers boarding and facility leases with the utmost attention to care. Options for full, rough, and semi-rough board are available, as well as the opportunity to lease out one of our many barns and adjacent pastures. Conveniently located on Rt. 1 near URI and Rt 138, our farm boasts:
- 72' x 168' Indoor arena
- Two outdoor arenas
- Matted stalls
- Access to poles, jumps, and barrels in order to cater to a variety of disciplines
- Round pen
- Private trail system
- Hot water wash stall
- Boarder amenities including viewing room, fridge, and bathroom
- Wide variety of private turnouts, including options for horses prone to founder or recovering from injury

Boarding
Boarding is available in three separate packages: Full, Semi-Rough, and Rough. All include a matted stall and private paddock, full use of the facility, and night check. Morning Star Horse Farm provides exquisite detail-oriented care. We take great pride in our equine knowledge and commitment to providing a safe, secure environment for horse and owner.
Semi-Rough Board also includes:
- Outdoor water buckets cleaned daily
- Blanketing in cooler months and application of fly protection in the summer
- Grain and hay fed up to three times a day
Semi-Rough boarders are responsible for daily cleaning of their stall and indoor water buckets, as well as a weekly cleaning of their paddock.
Full Board also includes:
- Stall cleaning once a day
- Clean water daily (inside and out)
- Routine cleaning of your horse's paddock
Available services at additional cost include grooming, bathing, lunging, hand walking, and maintenance of injuries such as soaking/hosing/wrapping.
Lessons
At this time we do not offer a lesson program on our own horses but trailer-ins are welcome.
